Dr. Joyce Eisel holds the position of Faculty and Chair of Health Care Management, Harris-Stowe State University, Anheuser-Busch School of Business, and previously held administrative and teaching positions at Central State University, Oklahoma and the University Of Oklahoma School Of Business.
She received her Doctorate and two Master degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University.
As an executive, Dr. Eisel has worked with international healthcare corporations; such as, Haemonetics Corporation headquartered in Switzerland and Alpha Therapeutics headquartered in Japan. Dr. Eisel was responsible for The American Red Cross National Office of Tissue Transplantation. In additions, she was named Woman of the Year in Wichita Falls, Texas for her work in genetics.
Currently, Dr. Eisel serves on numerous University committees including Accreditation, is a member of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), National Partnership for Action, Region VII Heartland Regional Health Equity Council (RHEC), is a member of the Coalition of Universities and partners with numerous community agencies. Most recently, Dr. Eisel was invited by the Chinese Government to speak at the Euro Asia Economic Forum 2015 in Xi’an, China regarding Health Care Management.
In addition to her numerous healthcare and business grants, contracts, presentations and publications, Dr. Eisel enjoys her work as a journal editor and writing poetry.
